How to issue a penalty and a note using the Visa App

This article will explain how you issue a penalty for a vehicle using the Visa App

To be able to issue a penalty you will need to be a 'Penalty Admin'.

How to issue a penalty using the Visa App

After logging in to the App, you should then tap 'QR scanner'.

Then 'scan profile.

Then, either 'scan a user' or 'search for a user' until you have found the profile you require.

Now, select and their profile will load.

The 'penalty field is linked to all of the penalties available for issue at the airport.

Tap the 'action button' at the bottom and then 'add a penalty',

Now type a keyword to help narrow your search for the penalty.

Tap the penalty you want to issue and the points scheme and number of points will automatically populate.

Click 'Next' once you have amended if necessary.

The app will automatically input the current time and date. If this is not correct, tap in the fields and select the correct time/date.

Here you can also upload images from your device to add evidence to the penalty. Tap 'next'.

Either allow the device to detect the current location or choose the location of the incident by tapping the screen once with one finger. Tap 'next'.

Finally, you may choose to add a reference and/or notes to the penalty. Please note that the reference and notes are visible to the offender and their company administrator. Tap 'submit'.

Now select 'view' and the penalty will then added to the users' profile and an email notification is sent to both the user and their company administrator.
