Adding and Editing Assessments
This section will take you through the assessment setup, covering all of the settings and options available to you for different assessment types.
In this guide, we'll be setting up a Practical assessment. Settings available to you may differ slightly if using a different 'Type'.
From your dashboard, select 'Training', then 'Assessments' and next select the 'Add' symbol.
You will then be able to choose your assessment type. The assessment types available to choose from are 'online', 'e-learning', 'time-based', 'webinar', 'practical and 'competency form'.
There is also a list of 'categories' to choose from. Type into the search box and a range of options will appear.
From here, once you have inputted the main 'Overview' details, you will find a range of of options that you can work through. The 'Setup' tab allows you to configure the main settings of your assessment.
Expiry details allow you to configure if and when the qualification will expire. Toggle on 'Does not expire' if the qualification does not expire and candidates are not required to revalidate.
Toggling on 'Variable expiry' allows the assessment to be given different expiries upon completion. If selected, enter the maximum allowed validity.
Once happy with the configuration, click 'Next' to continue.
There is also an option to 'automatically archive assessments'. By toggling this option 'On', qualifications covering the assessment will be automatically removed from candidate's profiles when they expire but any qualifications will still be accessible via the qualifications tab filter, if needed for future use.
Once complete, click 'Next' to continue.
