Booking a Training Course

There are several ways to start the booking process in Passport – you can use the navigation panel on the left of the page, or you can begin from your dashboard or profile page:

From the navigation panel on the left, select the ‘Training’ button and then select "Booking".

If you see the following message and are unable to book training, your company administrator has restricted access to training. Please contact them directly using the details on the page.

"Candidates are unable to book courses as this has not been enabled for your company. Please contact one of the admins shown below to book your course"

You will now be asked to 'Select a course".  You can search for your course, or select 'view all' to view all courses.

To select a course, click the ‘Choose course’ button next to the course’s name and availability, then select ‘Continue’.  The box will be highlighted in blue if the course has been successfully selected.

Next, check the date and the course details.  Alternatively, you can select 'First available date', then click 'Continue' to proceed.

From here, please check the details and click "Choose Course" and click 'Next'.  Once you have selected this option, you will find your booking details.  Please check these carefully.

If you see 'skills required', you should then take note of the message and ensure that all prerequisites are met prior to booking the course.

Now, select 'continue' and you will be taken to the payment options:

Please now enter payment details as appropriate and once completed, please select 'Confirm Booking".  You will see that you will have options to pay by 'card', or 'credits'.  Please choose which is appropriate to you at this stage and tick 'agree to terms and conditions' to confirm your booking.

Once payment has been authorised, you will receive your confirmation. You have options here to also 'View your enrolments', 'Launch your course' if it's an e-Learning or "Return to your profile".  A confirmation email will also be sent and the booking process is now complete.

Booking Training as an administrator

Similarly to the above section, there are several ways to start the booking process in Passport – you can use the navigation panel on the left of the page, or you can begin from your dashboard or profile page:

From the Navigation panel on the left, select the 'Training' button.  Then select ‘Booking’. As an Administrator, you will now need to select ‘Others’ and then ‘Continue’.

On the Training enrolment page you can search for a course by name or keyword, or click to ‘view all’.  You can also 'Filter' options, as appropriate.

To select a course, click the ‘Choose course’ button next to the course’s name and availability, then select ‘Continue’.  The box will be highlighted in blue if the course has been successfully selected.

You can now select candidates to add to the course.  Search for your candidates and click 'Add person' to add them to your booking.  You can add multiple candidates.

Next, you will be shown confirmation that the candidate has been added successfully.  Please check that they have been added and select 'Continue'.

You will now be asked to confirm your booking. Please select 'Confirm" in the bottom right hand corner; the payment options displayed will be the same as if you were booking a course for 'yourself'. Once payment is completed and terms and conditions ticked, the booking is now complete and the confirmation will be sent the same way as is mentioned above.

Once your booking is finalised you can return to your profile or view your enrolments. If your booking was an e-Learning course you will have the option to launch it immediately.
