Add Course (In Person)

This section will guide you through how to add a course (in person)

1

Firstly, once logged into Passport, select 'training' from the toolbar on the left hand side.

2

Next, select 'courses'.

3

Now select 'add course' in the bottom right hand corner.

4

Next, you will be taken through to the course 'setup'.  Scroll down and fill in all the details such as 'training company, 'course title', 'dates and times', 'choose trainer', 'select a room', number of places' and finally you will have the option to 'restrict to certain companies'.

Please ensure that you also 'view associated assessment' and check that all details are correct.

Once all details have been added select 'Next'.

5

Next, you will be given the option to schedule a 'recurring booking'.  There is an option here to toggle on and off.

6

Now will you be asked to fill in the 'information' box.  Here, you will be asked to give as much information about your course to minimise the need for people to call/email.

Scroll down further and add in the 'meeting point', 'location' and 'contact number'.

Once all of this has been completed, select 'Next'.

7

The final part is choosing your 'pricing'.  There are options here to either toggle on/off the need for invoicing or to set the 'candidate price' for your course.  You should exclude any tax here, as this will be added automatically by 'Passport'.

By scrolling down further, you will have further options; these include the option for 'Airdat' to bill on your behalf (for a fee for any bookings over £180).

Also, you will be able to select your 'cancellation period' and your 'course close period'.  It is now important to click 'save' at this point.

8

If all your course details have been added successfully, you will then have the option to 'add to calendar' and then you should click 'return to courses'

You should now find that your course has been added successfully to the course list in 'Passport'.
